Robert Mahl is a Vice President & Manufacturing Practice Leader at USI Insurance Services, Inc., a Goldman Sachs Capital Partner. In this capacity, Mahl is responsible for delivering insurance solutions to Middle Market companies with an emphasis on Apparel Manufacturers and Real Estate portfolios. Due to his deep understanding of the those industries along his insurance carrier relationships, Mahl has developed exclusive niche programs for the apparel industry and Property holdings which focus on Workers’ Compensation, Ocean Cargo (Stock throughput) and Property, Employment Practice Liability, Executive Risk and Intellectual Property protection. Mahl has an extensive business development and service background in commercial real estate and insurance. Before joining USI, Mr. Mahl worked for another national insurance broker, Marsh, as a Senior Client Advisor in Southern California serving Fortune 1000 companies. And, Mahl began his insurance career with Kemper as a Business Development Manager and Underwriter servicing the brokerage community and covering the Western United States. Even with his professional schedule, Mahl’s primary emphasis is on family and charity spending much of his time with his two girls, Bella (7) and Sofia (3). He is a very active participant in the non-profit and charitable community in Los Angeles and sits on two other Boards of Directors which include The City of Hope and the Industrial Council for the City of Commerce.
